1. Introduction
This website, www.trymanna.ai (the “Site”), is operated by Manna, having its statutory seat and registered address at 220-2 Admiralengracht, 1056TJ Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Dutch Chamber of Commerce registration in progress), represented by Mr. A. Mustafa (hereinafter referred to as “Manna”, “we” or “us”). We respect and protect your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we deal with the personal data you provide to us or that we collect from you. Please read the following carefully to know how we handle your personal data.
2. Information which Manna may collect about you through use of the Site
Manna may collect online information about you in various ways, such as through your use of this Site or through our use of cookies (see section 4). In certain parts of the Site, you are requested to contact us to make an appointment, to have us contact you (either by telephone or e-mail), or to pass on your questions and comments. If you do this, we may collect and process the following personal data about you: your name, work address, telephone number, e-mail address, and other contact details which you actively provide; your IP address, the operating system, the internet browser used, and the last internet page you visited; if you have contacted us, information regarding your correspondence with us; and details of your visit to our Site and the resources you use.
3. How we use your personal data collected through the Site
Manna may use the personal data we collect about you through the Site to: ensure that the Site is displayed to you in an efficient manner; manage customer relationships and deliver our services; provide you with the information you have requested, including electronic newsletters if you have subscribed (each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link); register the work we have carried out for you; develop and improve our way of working, mainly by contacting you for customer surveys, and by testing changes and improvements to our information systems and processes; and — if you have given us your written consent — send you electronic and/or paper marketing and other materials related to our services (see ‘Your rights’ below).
4. Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, smartphone, or tablet by your web browser. They may be temporary (session cookies, deleted when you close your browser) or permanent (persistent, until manually deleted or removed by your browser over time). We use functional cookies (essential for the Site to work), analytical cookies (to measure performance), and — only with your explicit consent — tracking cookies (to measure advertising effectiveness). This Site uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to evaluate your use of the Site and to compile reports for us. Google may transfer this information to third parties when required by law or when those third parties process it on Google’s behalf. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can change your browser settings to refuse cookies, but parts of the Site may then no longer function correctly. Links to social media sites such as X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube use scripts from domains over which we have no control — please review their respective privacy policies.
5. How we process personal data not collected through the Site
In addition to the information we collect through the Site, we may also obtain personal data about you through other means — personal contacts, telephone, e-mail, paper forms, business cards, and in particular in connection with any agreement we enter into with you and the assignments to be carried out in order to obtain subsidies and/or be accountable to the granting authority. Such personal data may include: your name, address (work and sometimes private), telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and other contact information; correspondence with us; and — within the framework of agreements to provide subsidies, account for subsidies, or apply for credits and/or tax refunds — citizen service numbers (BSNs), e-mail addresses, NAW data (name, address, place of residence), dates of birth and/or salary/wage slips. How we handle this information is subject to this Privacy Policy.
6. How we use personal data not collected through the Site
We may use the personal data we collect about you to: provide our services and any other information you have requested; manage customer relationships and invoice you for services delivered; register the work we have carried out for you; develop and improve our services through customer surveys and system improvements; and — with your written consent — send you electronic and/or paper marketing and other materials regarding our services.
7. Forwarding of your personal data
By submitting your personal data, you acknowledge and agree that we may share your personal data with third parties when: the third party grants subsidies; the third party is an accountant where an accountant’s declaration is a precondition; we use external service providers to process data on our behalf (e.g. administration, payment recovery, customer satisfaction surveys); you have explicitly consented to share your personal data with certain third parties; we have a legal, regulatory, or professional obligation to disclose data (e.g. to granting agencies or tax authorities) or need to protect our rights, property, safety, or those of our employees or others; or Manna — or substantially all of its assets — merges with or is acquired by a third party. With these exceptions, we will not share your personal data with any third parties.
8. Where we store your personal data
In order to provide our services, your personal data may be transferred to and retained by a third party at a destination within or outside the European Economic Area, including countries where data-protection laws are less stringent. Where we use a third party to process personal data on our behalf, we contractually require them to provide appropriate security regardless of their location. By continuing to use our services or the Site and by submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storage, and processing.
9. E-mail, text messages and other electronic messages
We may contact you by e-mail, text message, or other physical or electronic means with regard to the services Manna offers. If you have given us your consent, we may also contact you about our services through these channels for marketing purposes.
10. Your rights
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. You may exercise this right by contacting us at any time. By continuing to use our services or the Site and by providing personal data, you consent to our use of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. Please do not provide us with any personal data if you do not want it to be used in this manner. We may change our Privacy Policy at any time, without notice — please visit this page regularly to stay informed. Under the GDPR you have the right to: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct errors, withdraw consent, request data portability, lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), and request erasure of your data. We will make a reasonable effort under applicable law to respond to such requests.
